There is a great deal that goes into building a new home long before the finishing touches are complete.

Behind the walls, beneath the roof, and throughout every stage of construction, countless details come together to turn a set of plans into a place someone will call home.

At Sterchi Homes, that process is personal.

For Kyle and Brad Sterchi, homebuilding isn’t something that happens at a distance. It’s work they remain directly connected to, day after day, on the jobsites where Sterchi homes are taking shape throughout the Evansville and Newburgh area.

    The Workday Starts Early

For Kyle Sterchi, the day often begins before 7 a.m.

As the leader of Sterchi Homes LLC, Kyle makes daily rounds of the company’s active jobsites, keeping up with construction progress and staying personally involved in the work taking place.

Those rounds continue throughout the workday as he moves between homes in different stages of construction.

And Kyle isn’t the only Sterchi making those rounds.

His father, Brad Sterchi, founder of Sterchi Homes Corp., remains actively involved in construction, bringing years of homebuilding knowledge and experience to the work he and Kyle continue doing together.

Their involvement is not limited to a particular stage of construction or an occasional visit.

It’s part of the daily rhythm of Sterchi Homes.

Experience That Stays Close to the Work

    Homebuilding involves many moving parts.

From framing and mechanical systems to the work that happens before the walls are finished, each stage requires attention, coordination, and an understanding of how the individual pieces come together.

For the Sterchi family, that understanding comes from years spent around construction and on actual jobsites.

Kyle grew up learning the industry firsthand from Brad, just as Brad first learned about the building trades from his own father, Carl Sterchi.

Today, Kyle leads the company while Brad remains directly involved alongside him.

Together, they bring that family history into the homes Sterchi Homes builds today.

For the family, staying connected to construction isn’t simply about seeing a home progress.

It’s about understanding the work behind it.

Some Things Never Go Out of Style

Construction has changed over the years.

Equipment has evolved. Trucks look different. Building materials, home designs, and construction methods have continued to advance.

But certain things remain just as important.

Understanding the work. Paying attention to the details. And being willing to spend time where the actual building takes place.

Times change. Trucks change. But a hands-on approach to homebuilding never goes out of style.

That sentiment reflects a long-standing connection to the construction trades within the Sterchi family.

Building Homes Across Evansville & Newburgh

Sterchi Homes continues building in communities throughout Evansville, Newburgh, and the surrounding Southern Indiana area.

From the earliest stages of construction to the details that bring a home closer to completion, the family remains closely involved in the process.

Every home has its own plans, its own construction schedule, and its own details to work through.

What remains consistent is the personal involvement of the people behind the Sterchi Homes name.

For Kyle and Brad, being on the jobsite isn’t a special occasion.

It’s simply part of the workday.
